ROBYN BARNET

Victorian born artist Robyn Barnet completed her Bachelor of Contemporary Art at the University of Tasmania in 2012. Her small business background in regional areas of Victoria and Queensland informed and complemented her dedication for visual arts and the role they play in the wellbeing of the community.

Her time at UTAS created the opportunity for sculpture students to exhibit their final year objects alongside university staff on her property; the landscape-based exhibition informed and developed partnerships leading to the formation of Artentwine Sculpture Biennial. Robyn is passionate to connect and develop the ideologies of sculpture with likeminded colleagues and is proud to be part of Sculpture Tasmania.
