“I have been developing new work for a solo exhibition titled Something Else at Colville Gallery, Hobart opening 16 June 2020. 

The work shown is one of several wooden fire extinguishers that will feature in that exhibition. They are hollow coopered containers that for me express a sense of hopelessness and yet resilience in the face of several years of drought, floods and fires.” - Colin Langridge
